On the Counter

Keep sourdough cut-side down on a wooden board or in a paper bag. This preserves the "crunch" while letting the bread breathe.

Best for: Days 1-2

The Cloth Bag

For Pillowy Milk Bread, a linen bag or beeswax wrap is ideal. It traps moisture without making the crust soggy.

Best for: Days 3-4
❄️

The Deep Freeze

Sourdough freezes beautifully! Slice first, place in a freezer-safe bag, and remove air. Toast directly from frozen.

Best for: 1-3 Months

Awakening the Crust

If your Focaccia or Heritage Hearth has lost its crunch, use this simple bakery trick:

01

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

02

Quickly run the whole loaf under a cold tap or spray it with water. Yes, really!

03

Place directly on the oven rack for 5-8 minutes to crisp the crust and hydrate the interior.

Ordering Logistics

Artisan bread takes time. We require orders at least 48 hours in advance to allow for our signature slow-fermentation process.

We require a minimum of two items for local delivery. Hand-delivery is available on Tue/Fri; Shipping is available Mon/Wed.

As a Maryland Cottage Food business, we currently only ship within the state of Maryland to ensure maximum freshness.

Due to the perishable nature of our bread, we do not accept physical returns. Please notify us within 7 days of any issues.

Pro Tip: Never store your bread in the refrigerator! The cold temperature speeds up starch crystallization, making bread go stale faster.
