Why Naturally Leavened?
At Gliding Grains, we don't use yeast in our sourdough (our best seller). Every loaf of sourdough is powered by a living "starter"—a culture of wild yeast and beneficial bacteria. This 24-hour slow fermentation breaks down gluten and phytic acid, making our bread easier to digest and far more flavorful.
Heritage Hearth Sourdough
Our flagship loaf. Crafted with a blend of stone-ground wheats, it features a bold, caramelized crust and a deep, complex crumb.
Pillowy Milk Bread
Designed for those who love the health benefits of sourdough but prefer a gentler profile. This loaf is made with tangzhong resulting in an incredibly soft, and pillowy texture that stays fresh for days without artificial preservatives.
The Ultimate Airy Focaccia
Our high-hydration masterpiece. Dimpled with extra virgin olive oil and sea salt, this focaccia is celebrated for its springy texture and thick yet soft crust. A great base for homemade pizza or simply dipping into your favorite sauce.
